Location: At the corner of Washington & London St in Portsmouth
This unique event is all about honoring the community and its local businesses while wishing for good fortune and prosperity in the year ahead. Families, friends, and visitors are invited to join a free procession led by a lively bagpipe and drum group that ends in singing Auld Lang Syne.
Manteo NC New Year’s Eve Fireworks 12/31 at about 6pm
A family friendly fireworks show located in beautiful downtown Manteo with food provided by local restaurants and food trucks. Live music and lots of activities for the kids, all with the backdrop of the oceanfront.
Noon New Years Eve at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk 12/31 at 9:30am – 12:30pm
