Giving Thanks For Terrific Customers & Clients!
It is that time of the year when we take a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks. It is the season of gratitude, and I want to express my gratitude for trusting me to serve you through your real estate needs – past, present, and future. And, to impart some ideas on bringing an abundance of gratitude into your life.
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues
but the parent of all others.
Did you know that fostering gratitude can actually help alleviate negative emotions and even change the brain over time. What better way to channel a feeling of gratitude than reflecting with a classic work of literature that promotes those feelings. Here are six classic works of literature based on gratitude: Friendship by Ralph Waldo Emerson, On Aging by Maya Angelou, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Without This – There Is Nought by Emily Dickinson, and Walden and Walking by Henry David Thoreau.
Another great idea that you can start right now is a daily gratitude list. There is always something to be grateful for. To get you started, think about your kids, family, health, pets, etc. Another idea is to have a partner that you can send your daily list to, and vice versa – growing the gratitude. Once you cultivate an attitude of gratitude, you will notice more and more people with the same.
Make a Thanksgiving recipe for gratitude at your table by verbalizing your appreciation for others in attendance. Invite each person at the table to say something for which they are grateful. This practice can open the door to meaningful and memorable conversations, making sure nothing remains unsaid.
I am grateful for you and wish you and your family a very ‘Happy Thanksgiving’.
